The
Norfolk Chapter proudly supports a number of programs sponsored by the
SAR in which student members of the community are recognized and honored; among
them, outstanding students, essay and history day contest entrants and as many Eagle Scouts as permitted by the BSA.
In 2011, the Norfolk Chapter recognized students in all of the above-named programs, either to provide written support in the form of Certificates of Appreication, Recognition or Citizenship, to award them with appropriate medals or to invite them and their parents to our annual March Youth Awards Dinner-Meeting for recognition, an apportunity to speak to the assembly and the presentation of the appropriate medal, certificate and/or monetary award.
