NORFOLK CHAPTER VIRGINIA SOCIETY SAR

NORFOLK CHAPTER
PROGRAMS IN SUPPORT OF AREA ADULTS

The Norfolk Chapter proudly supports a number of programs sponsored by the SAR in which members of the community are recognized and honored; among them, teachers, public servants, law enforcement personnel, fire safety instructors, emergency medical services volunteers and other patriotic organizations, among them, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the James Monroe Memorial Foundation, the Great Bridge Battlefield & Waterways History Foundation, the MacArthur Foundation, Honor & Remember, Inc., Norfolk Lodge No. 1 of the Ancient Free and Associated Masons, along with all area historical and preservation societies.

In 2011, the Norfolk Chapter worked with all of the above-named organizations, either to provide written support, to invite them to participate in any of our many ambitious programs and projects or to recognize deserving individuals.
